Less is More

I put too much information in my poems

See, I've told you too much already.

Today I will give you a Magritte poem.

What feeling do these invoke?

a tortoise shell comb

an unmade bed

a matchstick and shaving brush on top of a Persian rug

in the corner a closed window with red drapes

an armoire

a glass chalice the color of the Mediterranean sea

Which is it? Longing or loss?

You tell me.

Notes:

more inspiration from SFMOMA - Day 20 - the true meaning came out for me last night, and is written in More or Less - look there for the answers
