About me

I'm a mother, grandmother, lover, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, wife, colleague, endurance walker, filmmaker, singer, story-teller, priestess, witch, baker, apple butter maker, and washer of sheets.

When I was 17 I lived in a maternity home for six months, and had a baby that I gave up for adoption. That event changed the course of my life and I was pretty crazy for a while.

In and around various volunteer gigs, and sometimes trying to make a living, I'm working on a novel about that experience.

I was born in Hawaii, lived in England as a small child, but grew up in Oklahoma, in a town not far from land that was settled by my great-grandfather in the Land Run of 1889. As an adult I've lived in California and New York. Portland, Oregon is now my home.

If you're interested in ritual-making and liturgy for all of life's events, you'll soon be able to contact me at my website "unbrokencircle."
