Final Day of NaPoWriMo

It's April 30, and I've posted more poems this month than I ever thought possible. The challenge stretched me creatively, and I'm looking at language in new ways. Monday I go back to work on my novel, but, hopefully, all the wonder I found in the beauty of the word will remain with me and continue to feed the creative process. If nothing else, I learned this month how to be more disciplined in my writing - devoting time to it every day, which is what I need to do to get my book finished. Zig Zigler said, “It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through.” Here's to the follow though.
